Description

The Jack Bunk bed is one of our most popular bunk designs.

Construction
This bed has been designed in accordance with the Australian Standard AS/NZS 4220:2003. The bunk is made using furniture grade pine. The bunk bed uses metal fittings and features the use of barrel nuts which means that the bed can be disassembled and reassembled without wearing out the timber. This bunk is a very sturdy design and we have not experianced any problems with its design.

Sizes
This bunk is available in Single size, or King single size.

Features
The bunk can convert to two single beds. Safety rails are integrated into the design for the top bunk and attach to the ladder for added strength. 19mm timber slats are screwed down to the side rails for added strength. Slats are held together with two timber rails.

Colours/Stains
The bunk is available in a large range of timber stains, as well as a white painted finish. Please see the colour chart link below for addtional information. The bunk can be ordered in the raw finish to allow you to paint the bed yourself in your own colour, or to have the bed colour matched to existing furniture. The bunk is shown here in Rustic Oak.

Inclusions
With this bed you receive, two head ends, two footends, two sets of side rails, two sets of slats, one set of safety rails (safety rails are fitted to both sides of the top bunk), and one ladder. One package of fittings are included which includes all parts to enable the correct construction of the bunk bed.  Mattress' are not included in the price. Please see our range of childrens mattress' which are recommended for this product.

Installation
We can install this product for you in the Sydney area. This bunk can also be self installed, you will need a phillips head screwdriver (allan key supplied).

A note from The Bedroom
This is one of the best bunk beds we have had in our shop. When put together correctly it is a very sturdy bed and will last. We generally have this bunk on display, but contact us to check if you are planning to come and look at it.
