Inclusions

The Adelaide four poster bed is supplied with the following parts;

Bed head
Foot end
Side rails x 2
Timer slats
Curtain rails x 4

Matress is not included in the priice.

Construction

The bed is made from 1.6mm thick steel tubing (this is the steel thickness and not the tube diameter) and is fully welded (not tack welded) at all joins giving the bed strength and durability. The side rails are made from certified "bedstead angle" steel ensuring that they can support the mattress correctly. Side rails fit into a gravity type slot, no bolts required.

Timber Slats

90mm x 35mm thick timber slats are a feature of this product, eliminating the need for centre support. The timber used is dried, strong and sourced from sustainsable plantations. Slats are held in at each end of the side rails (via metal lug) and are held in position by "old fashioned" jute webbing so there are no sharp edges.

Painted Finish

The paint is powder-epoxy electrostatically applied and baked at high temperature for durability. This paint is commonly referred to as 'Powdercoat'. Various colours are available as shown in the colour samples available by clicking on the links below. Please note that there are standard colours available at no extra charge, and deluxe colours that have metallic type finish at an extra cost.

Curtains

This bed is available with or without tab top curtains. Curtains include tie-back's, and is made from terylene (similar to a mosiquito nets). Curtains are an optional extra, and can be ordered at a later date if so required.

Installation

This bed can be self installed, there are no tools required. Installation takes around 10 mins once all the parts are unpacked. We offer installation to our Sydney metropolitan customers at an additional cost.
