What is Ingeo?
This brand new man-made fibre is derived from abundant and annually renewable natural material...like corn. Raw plant material is put through a simple process to make plant sugars. The sugars undergo fermentation, a similar process to that of making yoghurt. The product is then transformed into a high grade substance and extruded into fibre. 20% - 50% less fossil fuel used than petroleum based products.
